Designation: Continual Improvement Manager

Department: Quality Management

Position of direct manager: Site Quality Management Manager

Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Production Engineering/Textiles)

or

- Master's Degree in Chemistry, plus MBA/M.Tech is preferred & Certified Black Belt (preferably from ASQ/GE/Motorola)

Certification: Six Sigma Black/Master Black Belt Certified; Certified Lean practioner (or at least 2-3 years of Lean Implementation)

Experience:

- Minimum 10 years work experiences in Chemical Manufacturing industries

- 5+ years working directly in Lean Six Sigma

- Main mission, goal of position (Why this position should exist in the organization- )

- Ensure alignment and adherence to Business strategy, and Strengthen continual improvement culture.

- Drive, build and Support continual improvement program and ensure effectiveness of entire improvement process.

- Lead effective implementation of those projects at the site.

Major areas of responsibility, main processes, tasks:

- Ensure healthiness of productivity projects pipeline of site

- Provide coaching and training to site teams

- Facilitate continual improvement community collaboration and promote cross learning

- Drive to achieve annual cost saving target and continual improvement program.

- Plan and implement productivity trainings per identified road map

- Identify improvement opportunities and align with stakeholders by systematic/data driven approach.

- Ensure effectiveness of entire improvement process: from identification of opportunities through implementation and control.

- Lead/facilitate/implement productivity projects.

- Coach site Green Belts and project teams to effectively implement improvement.

- Develop standard work/procedure/guidelines to assure consistency of implementations.

- Monitor performance, prepare reports, and lead productivity meetings.

- Be a contact point of productivity-related matters

Know-how/Skills:

- Understanding of Chemical Processes, like Reaction controls, Drying, Blending, Mixing ets

- Basic understanding of Quality Management, EHS

- Familiarized with SAP ERP system
