Content Writer - Long Form

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Writer to join our dynamic marketing team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in producing in-depth, research-driven long-form content that captivates and educates our target audience.

This role demands a writer who can seamlessly blend journalistic rigor with marketing savvy, crafting compelling articles, whitepapers, and thought-leadership pieces.

The candidate should be proficient in leveraging generative AI tools to enhance content creation while maintaining a commitment to accuracy and originality.

Experience in the Fintech sector, a brand/startup environment, or the Study-Abroad Financing domain is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

- Produce high-quality, long-form content, including articles, whitepapers, case studies, and thought-leadership pieces, that align with the company's brand voice and marketing objectives.

- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and target audience preferences to ensure content relevance and accuracy.

- Develop compelling narratives that effectively communicate complex information in a clear and engaging manner.

- Ensure all content is original, well-structured, and adheres to SEO best practices.

SEO & Digital Optimization:

- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve content visibility and organic search rankings.

- Optimize content for various digital platforms, including websites, blogs, and social media.

- Understand and implement meta tags, on-page optimization, and other SEO elements.

Generative AI Integration:

- Leverage generative AI tools (e.g, ChatGPT, Jasper) for initial drafts, ideation, and content outlines.

- Critically evaluate and refine AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with brand guidelines.

- Maintain human oversight and editorial control over all AI-assisted content.

Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to develop content strategies and ensure alignment with business goals.

- Present content ideas and strategies to stakeholders and incorporate feedback effectively.

- Maintain a content calendar and meet deadlines consistently.

Industry Expertise:

- Develop a deep understanding of the company's industry, products, and services.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

- Experience in either the Fintech sector, or experience working at a brand/startup.

- Experience within the Study-Abroad Financing domain will be considered a significant advantage.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

- MBA is highly desirable.

- 4-6 years of proven experience in content writing, with a focus on long-form content.

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Strong research and analytical abilities.

- Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research.

- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and digital marketing tools.

- Familiarity with generative AI tools and their application in content creation.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Experience in either the Fintech sector, or experience working at a brand/startup.

- Experience within the Study-Abroad Financing domain will be considered a significant advantage.
