Responsibilities:

- Testing and approving content, quality assurance - Proofread, re-structure and edit content.

- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team / departments to create compelling and engaging content.

- Conduct research and fact-checking as needed to verify the accuracy of information presented in written materials.

- Copywriting - creation, proofreading and sub-editing large volumes of content to a high standard in the right style and tone of voice.

- Optimize content pieces using SEO guidelines.

- Maintaining best practice and developing online content standards, compliance, voice and tone, style guides

- Managing business KPIs and aligning content with organisational goals and objectives

- Thinking about user experience and usability, accessibility, writing for the web, and meeting user needs with content

- Ensure timelines are managed effectively and consistently with all given projects and content workflows.

- Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication.

- Stay up to date on industry trends, developments, and best practices related to generate new ideas.

- Analytics and reporting on content effectiveness - Monitor metrics that matter.

Requirements and skills:

- Proven work experience as a Content Editor or similar role

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong portfolio showcasing writing and editing skills in a variety of formats and styles.

- Excellent writing and editing skills in English with attention to detail.

- B.Sc./PG in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field
