Content Strategist
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to grow the mutual fund business via content - both for engagement & conversion.
- Identify and analyze different investor segments based on demographics, risk appetite, investment goals, and behavior to tailor products and marketing strategies accordingly.
- Develop marketing & content strategies to increase the share of wallet from existing investors through cross-selling additional products or services and up-selling higher-value investment options.
- Create the content roadmap for and drive content asset creation (both long form & short form) across multiple digital touchpoints spanning across on page, off page and social to drive conversations to engage with users / prospects / customers.
- Drive product positioning and messaging based on market research and customer insights.
- Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication - this includes weekly newsletter for our audience (for product promotion and generic financial knowledge pieces) and managing social media content.
- Plan & review the content for conversion and engagement to market the same with interesting hooks & narratives - this includes various formats such as newsletters, WhatsApp's, social posts, campaign & SEO content.
- Strategize product presentations, one-pagers, campaign creatives, scheme pitchbooks and monthly collaterals for all our existing funds.
- Track and analyze the performance of existing mutual fund products, benchmarking against industry standards and investor expectations and make recommendations on product positioning accordingly.
- Analyse market trends and customer behavior to adapt the product strategy to changing market conditions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all business and product development activities.
- Stay informed about macro-economic factors such as interest rates, inflation, GDP growth, and geopolitical events that could impact investment decisions and market dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, investment & research team to help scale business from existing & new investors.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team / departments to create compelling and engaging content.
- Regular interaction with Sales team and provide product related support. Ability to provide training on products if required to external partners also.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, CFA) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience (5-7 years) in content strategy along with content editing & product management within the mutual fund sector.
- Strong knowledge of mutual fund products, investment strategies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey product information to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate and influence across various teams.
