Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Content Strategy Manager to lead the development and execution of our content strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of content marketing principles, SEO/SEM best practices, and audience engagement strategies. You will be responsible for creating and managing a comprehensive content calendar, ensuring content aligns with business objectives, and driving measurable results.


Responsibilities:


Content Strategy Development and Execution:


- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with overall marketing goals and business objectives.


- Create and manage a content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of high-quality content.


- Conduct thorough audience research and develop content that resonates with target demographics.


- Identify content gaps and opportunities to improve content performance.


- Oversee the creation of various content formats, including blog posts, articles, white papers, case studies, videos, and social media content.


SEO/SEM and Content Optimization:


- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search visibility.


- Collaborate with the SEM team to optimize content for paid search campaigns.


- Analyze content performance using analytics tools and implement data-driven optimizations.


- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO/SEM trends and algorithm updates.


Content Management and Distribution:


- Manage content creation and distribution across various platforms, including website, blog, social media, and email.


- Utilize content management systems (CMS) to publish and manage content effectively.


- Develop and implement content distribution strategies to maximize reach and engagement.


- Ensure content is on brand, and follows all relevant style guides.


Project Management and Collaboration:


- Manage content projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and design, to ensure content alignment.


- Manage external content creators and agencies as needed.


Work under pressure, while maintaining quality.


Performance Analysis and Reporting:


- Track and analyze content performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.


- Generate regular reports and provide insights to stakeholders.


- Use data to identify areas for improvement and optimize content strategy.


Content Presentation:


- Effectively present content strategy, and results to internal and external stake holders.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


- Master's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or a related field.


- 5+ years of proven content strategy and project management experience.


- Sound knowledge of content management systems (CMS), keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).


- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices.


- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive decisions.


- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.


- Exceptional marketing and collaborative skills.


- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.


- The ability to work under pressure.


- Strong content presentation skills.
