About the role
- Develop a content marketing program that drives awareness, sales, engagement, and retention.
- Lead the development and execution of all content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats aligned to industry trends, brand positioning and messaging.
- Expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation, localization, what's working and what's not.
- Create and manage content that converts across all stages of the buyers- journey, and inbound and outbound marketing. Own the impact of content on traffic, engagement, demo requests and customer wins.
- Hire and manage a team of content writers and manage relationship with freelancers/ agency as required.
- This position will be based in Bengaluru and will report to the Head of Marketing. The candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing to set a vision for the function and forge cross-functional partnerships across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and write content for the - Top of the Funnel- and - Middle of the Funnel- stages.
- Conduct research on buyer persona, competition, keywords, build a list of content topics and calendar.
- Write compelling long form & persuasive short-form content - covering emails, landing pages, website, blogs, success stories, presentations, infographics, white papers, press releases articles and eBooks.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, tone and optimized for search and user experience across all content channels (online, social media, email, video, print, etc).
- Work in an unstructured and fast-paced environment - conceptualize content strategy and execute them.
- Work closely with the product team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns.
- Develop on good ideas and experiment on them. Not afraid to push the boundaries and test innovative ideas.
Requirements
- You have a degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations or related communications field. MBA in marketing is a plus.
- You have 3-6 years of content marketing experience preferably in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- You believe great content can materially influence and enhance a company's brand, help in differentiation, and demand generation.
- You have outstanding communication skills - written, verbal, and visual and highly effective presentation skills; comfortable with customers, press and analysts.
- You can work autonomously, focusing on critical outcomes amidst competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- You can turn a rich and fast-evolving combination of product features and customer stories into compelling, differentiated, and powerful product messages.
- You are exceptional in prioritizing and balancing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
- You have experience in US & Europe markets.
