We're looking for an experienced content specialist to plan and write external-facing content for India.
The primary focus will be to build strategic content-led initiatives that create conversations and help develop interaction with the firm's audience, which includes corporate occupiers, commercial real estate investors and property developers.
You will be part of a small-but-nimble marketing team in a role requiring you to coordinate with leaders across our business.
As a content-marketing leader, you understand the power of a well-crafted narrative, and know how to engage audiences, make dull topics shine, and build trust in our brand. There will be a strong focus on digital content, specifically for the corporate website, and on creating flagship research-led output.
The right candidate will be a strong writer, editor and storyteller - ideally with an editorial / journalism background - who has commercial experience and a sound grasp of best practice and the latest trends in content marketing.
You will be responsible for ensuring our editorial content is engaging, consistent and supports business objectives.
Suitable for someone with 10-12 years' experience.
Key responsibilities
- Create, present and maintain the editorial calendar for India and ensure a strong, ongoing content pipeline across company owned platforms
- Work with the research team and key business-line teams on flagship pieces
- Lead content writing as well as the commissioning of assets from external agencies and freelancers as required
- Develop, manage, and scale content marketing strategy that effectively attracts, captures, and nurtures targeted personas across the sales cycle with the appropriate levels of technical depth to measurably influence pipeline
- Research, test, and optimize content marketing strategy (personas, channels, calls-to-action, content type, promotion, distribution) to determine the most successful engagement formulas that maximize impact and exceed benchmarks over time.
- Create a governance structure to help manage country-level content output. The aim is to ensure the right sort of content, on appropriate and relevant topics is being created at the right time and in a consistent manner, for corporate website specifically
- Work closely with the Global Content Editor and regional content editors in APAC to develop/maintain the content strategy and Tone of Voice guidelines
To apply you need to be:
- An exceptional storyteller, editor, and content producer with 10 to 12 years of experience
- Experience in managing editorial or content teams, external agencies to produce high-quality content in a variety of formats and channels
- The ability to write in a range of voices and styles for projects with diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published work that has travelled far (with the metrics and business impact to prove it) demonstrating the ability to present complex information simply
- Can speak fluently in marketing KPIs and ROI generated from owned content marketing programs, including understanding of how content sources and influences pipeline and revenue
- Exceptional written English derived from formal journalism training and/or editorial experience, as well as knowledge and experience of content marketing
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively juggle diverse writing demands and deliver on-time
- Experience of communicating to B2B audiences preferred
- Real estate background preferred, investment/financial services may be advantageous
