Contata Solutions - Technical Project Manager

Must have Skills:

Project Management and Tracking:

- Worked and interacted independently with overseas clients in US, UK, Europe or Australia/ NZ.

- Responsible for delivery from offshore Centre and customer satisfaction.

- Able to plan, monitor, and track Agile projects.

- Review and ask questions on task estimation, so that important business requirements are not missed out.

- Convert estimation into project plan and schedule.

- Timely escalation of issues and status reporting.

- Report project status to relevant stakeholders as defined in the project management plan.

- Identify, mitigate and track risks on the project.

Technology Leadership:

- Worked and managed technology stack (.Net/ Java/ Data) related projects and be able to contribute / guide in discussions in the same area. He/she should have a good control over the functional and technical aspects of the project.

- Understands the SDLC process of software development projects & conversant with technical terms in development.

- Understand architecture at high level to ensure that it meets business objectives.

- Understands good development practices like - coding standards, code review, source control, build management, etc.; so that he can provide overall leadership to get these things implemented in the project.

Resource Management:

- Lead / manage an ODC software team of resources comprising developers, testers and business analyst.

- Review resource plan, define targets/ KRAs for team members, conduct team reviews, identify availability issues and provide proposals to resolve while working closely with all team members.

- Team member training identification and responsibility on the projects.

Soft Skills:

- Self-starter, who can take initiatives and get things done with minimal guidance.

- Strong leadership, prioritization abilities and accountability.

Good-to-have Skills:

- Involvement in handling of multiple projects.

- Experience in risk management- planning and mitigation.

- Team planning, retention and track the billing.

- Experience in revenue/cost management.
