1. Scope of Services.
- Scope of services covers Retail Risk Analysis, Retail Risk Analytics, Retail Regulatory submission support, Risk Data Analytics and Data Quality Assessment, on a regular and ad-hoc basis to support Regulatory submissions and meet regulatory requirements for accurate and consistent risk aggregation and data quality.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Perform analysis of regulatory bulletins and FAQs, across products, risk processes, regulatory schedules and across businesses and geographies, to determine applicability.
- Perform data and results analysis across products, risk processes, regulatory schedules and across businesses and geographies to confirm fit for purpose, validate submissions, assess impact of issues in data/submissions
- Perform mapping and control identification to improve quality
- Automate submissions templates, review reports, and reconciliation reports
- Perform data analysis and data mining in support of data quality assessments and root cause determination of Data Quality (DQ) anomalies for the Retail Risk group within Citibank.
- Monitor the KPIs for measuring data quality of retail risk data within the business and across in-business and global functions
- Identify additional DQ rules, KPIs and/or automated analysis needed from Technology to improve DQ assessments and IMR identification
- Generate statistical data quality validations analysis that will assist in the identification of the root cause and the scope of data anomalies that are identified from data quality monitoring reports and local country / business input.
- Create, review and complete information needed to establish Data Quality IMRs
- Publish Data Quality Dashboards to track status and disposition of data anomalies, investigations and pre-IMR assessment actions
- Interpret and transform a business problem statement into a data quality validations analysis report supported by frequencies, distributions, trends and data integrity validations.
- Develop conclusion summaries by utilizing these generated statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
- Findings and results of the completed analysis and data mining are to be documented and included into the Retail Data Source Knowledge Catalog.
2. Required Skills
- Consumer credit experience in the banking industry, in risk data and consumer regulatory reporting related positions
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Should have strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Candidate should also have demonstrated track record for evaluation and improvement of data quality and process re-engineering
- Technical/Software skills: Good SAS knowledge, SQL, Visual Basic and Excel
Experience in one or more of the following:
I. Consumer Risk regulatory reporting (CCAR, FDIC, and Basel) and risk analysis of retail products (cards, loans, mortgages)
II. Consumer Risk Modelling and Risk Analytics
III. Consumer Business Data Analysis and management reporting - especially in Credit
IV. Risk Policy and Collections.
- Strong communication and presentation skills are required to describe the results of the completed data analysis.
- Sr. Analyst to have 7-12 years- experience on the above mentioned skillsets.
Mandatory Skill
- Functional - Consumer Risk regulatory reporting (CCAR, FDIC, and Basel) and risk analysis of retail products (cards, loans, mortgages
- Technical - SAS, SQL, Excel.
- Spanish (For Mexico local hire its mandatory).
