Principal Accountabilities

Manage category of more than 5 brands
Budget sales targets across 15 branches for brands handled. Track achievement of the same in liaison with sales team.
New product launch - analyse need gaps, define target audience and product attributes, establish positioning, pricing, sales forecast and marketing plan.
Analyse market/consumer trends to promote right product mix and new products.
Competition mapping in terms of features, benefits, price points.
Conduct marketing functions of market research, consumer activation, media buying & communication and development of collaterals in liaison with research & advertising agencies.
Forecasting - review and support the system Forecast and demand plan given by Logistics for all branches for the concerned products.
Budget for Marcom and annual marketing plans, plan consumer and trade promotion. Interface with Finance to periodically track spends against plan and review pricings.
Internal interface with Quality/Manufacturing for new product development and reviewing existing product performance, Logistics for tracking replenishment of forecast, Legal for adherence to statutory guidelines on packaging and ensuring trademark protection
Review and control D&SM stocks across branches
Mentor and guide three branches (Ahmedabad, Howrah, Patna) on all branch performance parameters
