Description of responsibility :
1. Develop a research calendar highlighting research focus areas and frequency
2. Allocate and provide for research budgets to be included in the planning process
3. Lead the market research and analysis team
4. Provide critical inputs pertaining to external market environment for effective strategic, and Real estate planning
5. Identify, suggest and prioritize areas of research that can support marketing strategy
6. Lead highly complex, time-sensitive market research projects.
7. Drive research projects to create value for business
8. Proactively publish and provide inputs to Marketing head that can enable the organization benchmark itself for achieving business objectives. This includes areas such as:
a. Industry trends, Market trends and competitive analysis
b. Consumer insights and means to improve customer experience
c. Price Perceptions
d. Regional performance trends & Employee productivity benchmarks
9. Provide market trends and assess impact to enable identification of emerging opportunities
11. Select research agencies as per defined metrics and budgets as well as establish governance metrics for effective functioning
12. Establish the processes that ensure unbiased and accurate actionable insights through relevant methodologies like (Focus groups/ call centers/ opinion surveys / website metrics/ 3rd party research/ international learnings)
13. Manage vendor / research agency relationships to ensure delivery of insightful and timely research as per defined scope in a cost effective manner
