I am holding the following opportunity with me for a tier 1 IT service organization.
Principal Responsibilities
Crafts client pursuit strategies & diagnoses client opportunities which have scope of downstream engagements
Reviews and assesses a client's business strategy, including competitive positioning, strategic direction & proposes appropriate remodeling solutions
Generates demand through consultative selling
Plans the strategy and direction for key client engagements for the next 3 years
Offer in-depth functional and domain expertise within areas of strategic focus, including knowledge of related applications.
Creates reusable IP, presents POV ; white papers etc. at strategic industry and analyst conferences
Understands & supports change management activities, transformation projects and oversees implementation
Manages upstream engagements while generating an annual downstream revenue for the consulting track
Closes on new projects and/or project extensions with clear upstream engagements with minimal partner support
Responsible for development of Talent within Domain Practices
Knowledge
Must Have Expert - Subject Matter Expertise in the domain / practice, with competitive strategy & solutioning ability in the defined space
Understanding of inter- and intra-enterprise business models, market structures, exchange models, and supporting applications
Deep Expertise in the specific domain area with knowledge breadth across the other related domain areas
Project, Program Management & Selling Capabilities
Awareness of global industry trends and directions and its impact on IT services
Visualize solutions that transcend Practice and organizational boundaries

Related Domain Certifications
Experience
Must Have
15-20 years or more of industry line management and/or management consulting experience involving core process and application expertise, strategy, planning & design
Leadership experience with complex, large-scale projects using a structured project methodology
Proven experience defining business strategies for new ventures and complex multi divisional and enterprise level business models
Experience of managing P&L / Financial targets of significant revenue size, scale and complexity
Experience across at least 2 of Analysis and Advisory Services, Defining & Implementing Deploy Recommendations, managing ADM and Operation based projects
Authored/Co-Authored at scholastic articles and publications in the area of specialization and is a sought after Industry Speaker
Preferred
Proven experience in developing and managing client relationships
Leading Teams of BA; Consultants
Presented in Industry Domain Forums ; has IP to his/her credit.
