Consultant
Youth Citizenship which comprises several initiatives to channelize sustained youth engagement with nation-building activities pan-India. The inaugural initiative under this program is Media for Social Change Fellowship - a high impact program to develop socially conscious youth leadership India Chapter. As part of the Fellowship, youth support communication efforts of high impact Non-Profits which strengthens the awareness generation and resource mobilisation efforts of the organisations. A number of similar innovative and scalable initiatives are envisaged in partnership with government, academic institutions and Non-Profits to develop a strong cadre of responsible youth citizens for India's social transformation.
Position : Consultant
Role :
Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, the incumbent will be responsible for the management, implementation, monitoring and scaling up of Youth Citizenship program.
Responsibilities :
End-to-end management of the Youth Citizenship program including planning, execution, monitoring and budgeting
Relationship development with key stakeholders, especially Non-Profits, educational institutes, media organisations, Non- Profit aggregators and other support organisations, nationally and internationally to amplify the impact of Youth
Identify new areas for growth and develop strategies to scale up Responsible Youth Citizenship program across every nook and corner of the country
Harness technology to maximise impact of the program
Develop content on responsible youth citizenship including thought leadership articles, white papers, speeches, talking points, presentations etc
Champion the program at various national forums
Supervise impact assessment of the program and document best practices
Strengthen position as the premier corporate foundation in the field of responsible youth citizenship
Qualification
Master's degree in Business Administration/ Development Studies
Minimum 8 years of experience of managing programs related to youth leadership/ youth engagement
Experience of managing large multi-stakeholder projects
Good computer skills, including internet navigation and MS office applications
Language
Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Competencies
Ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs
Capacity to perform effectively under pressure in a multi-tasking environment with limited time and minimal supervision
Ability to work individually and as a team member
Ability to perform independently with minimum supervision
Skills required
Excellent written & oral communication
Knowledge of current social issues and a development sector (national and international) perspective
Detail-oriented with strict adherence to timelines
