Consultant/Team Leader - IT Audit - CA Firm

We have an urgent opening for IT Audit department with a leading CA firm in Mumbai

Designation: Consultant/Team Leader

Experience: 1+ years

Travelling: Not involved much (only in Mumbai) if required

Responsibilities:

- Streamline the domain reviews by bridging the gap between control requirements, technical issues and business risks.

- Perform information security risk assessments and serves as an internal auditor for security issues

- Document all information security policies, incidents, problem resolutions and design plan and operation procedures.

- Monitors the internal control systems to ensure that appropriate access levels are maintained

- Monitors compliance with information security policies and procedures, referring problems to the appropriate department

- Preparing Project Plan for the information security polices deployment in the existing infrastructure.

- Instrumental in establishing and maintaining best practices for monitoring and optimizing the quality review process.

- Advise the organization with current information about information security technologies and related regulatory issues

- Performing internal IT audits, vulnerability assessment with respect to new security policy to be implemented.

- Enforce control policy as per the organization requirement.

- Brainstorming the team for implementing innovative control measures.

- Recommending steps for Risk Mitigations, Preparing the disaster recovery plan

- Review of Database, Operating System and Web Application Control Checklist

- Conduct internal risk assessments of corporate policies, I.T. systems, and access controls.

Required Knowledge & Skills

- The Incumbent would be required to lead a Team of Information security/Network Security professionals

- Would be a People manager, having experience of handling Large Team of Security Consultants/professionals

- Ability to understand client security

- Sound knowledge of operating system, databases & network security and audit.

- Experience in IT audit, risk, control, development, review of IS policies & procedures.

- Knowledge of IT operational process, Incident Management & Risk Assessment.

- Experience in team supervision and project management.

- Able to handle a team

- Strong Interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships

- Good written communication skills

- Good understanding of technical platforms..

- Proficiency in office tools is required

- Positive attitude, Ability to lead the team, work with team, motivate the team.

Educational & Professional Credentials

- Essential: CISA, CISSP

- Preferred with CA\ MBA-IT \ BSc- IT \ BE - Computers, Electronics\ MS\ MCA.

- Experience in related field of IT audits in a professional service firm or corporate audit department

- Added advantage: professional certifications including Microsoft, Oracle, System administration, etc.
