Sourcing & Procurement Consultant - Apparel & Textile - Consulting Firm (MBB) - Contractual

- Our client, a global consulting firm, is partnering with a leading global supply chain orchestrator in the apparel sector, which manages contract fulfillment for major Western fashion brands. They are embarking on a 10-month strategic initiative aimed at optimizing procurement processes and driving cost savings through enhanced negotiations.

- To support this effort, the client is looking for a Sourcing & Procurement Consultant with experience in the textile or apparel industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, procurement, cost optimization, Design-to-Value (DTV), and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead Design-to-Value (DTV) and procurement cost optimization initiatives

- Collaborate with senior cross-functional client teams to shape and execute the procurement strategy

- Conduct contract negotiations with key suppliers to achieve cost reductions

- Implement procurement strategies, with a particular focus on textile sourcing and manufacturing

- Work closely with the client's leadership team, reporting to senior case leaders based in Mumbai

Your Background:

- 4-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, and PMO leadership roles

- Strong preference for experience in the textiles/apparel industry

- Proven track record of managing complex PMO initiatives with senior-level stakeholders

- Experience with global supply chains, particularly in textiles, is highly desirable

This is a client-facing role with a 10-month contract. The consultant will be based in Mumbai for the project's duration, with some travel to Europe and East Asia, especially at the start of the engagement.
