Position Overview :
- Governance professionals love to talk and we at Vahura, like to listen and help such professionals connect with opportunities across legal, tax, finance, policy and compliance domains. We are seeking a highly motivated, smart and experienced mid-level (3 to 6 years) finance recruiter with strong business development skills to join our team.
- The primary focus of this role will be finance recruitment, at mid-level, for pan-India region along with BD responsibilities (360 degree recruitment role). This role will include sourcing, screening, assessing, shortlisting and sharing of candidate profiles, interview coordination and offer negotiation. Adhering to timelines in terms of response to clients and maintain/ set clear and reasonable client expectation.
- Networking and meeting with professionals (professionals and clients) will be a large part of your routine work. You will be helping in building and growing the financial services hiring practice and database for Vahura and will need to engage with varied levels of professionals in this space.

Key Responsibilities :
Talent Acquisition:
- Source, attract, and screen candidates for various finance positions.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain a strong network of finance professionals through networking events, referrals, online platforms and other relevant channels.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview coordination, offer negotiation and onboarding.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the finance industry to generate leads and expand the client base.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential target clients and industries.
- Collaborate with the CS and brand marketing teams to develop effective strategies and marketing materials for BD initiatives.
- Attend industry events, conferences and networking sessions to promote Vahura's services and generate new business leads.
Relationship Management:
- Foster strong relationships with both candidates and clients, acting as a trusted advisorthroughout the recruitment process.
- Understand client requirements, organizational culture and hiring needs to provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing regular updates, feedback and guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain ongoing communication with placed candidates to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in the Vahura's recruitment database.
- Prepare regular reports and metrics on recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, placements and BD efforts.
- Monitor market trends, industry news and competitor activities to stay informed and provide insights to the team.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills :
- Excellent written and spoken English ability
- University level education in a relevant area of study. Management, Finance, Legal or HR
related qualification is highly desirable
- Curious by nature; interest in business and industry trends
- At least 3-6 years of relevant finance hiring / recruitment experience in a retained executive search, boutique search firm and/or agency experience would be ideal
