Job Summary:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO/SD Consultant to join our dynamic team.

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP FICO and SD modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

- This role demands a strong understanding of financial and sales processes, coupled with technical proficiency in SAP development and integration.

- The consultant will collaborate closely with stakeholders, provide expert guidance, and ensure the smooth operation of SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP FICO/SD Implementation & Configuration:

- Implement, configure, and support SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules to meet specific business requirements.

- Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and translate them into functional and technical specifications within the SAP environment.

- Configure and customize SAP FICO and SD modules, including but not limited to:

- FICO: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Controlling (CO), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Bank Integration, GST Development.

- SD: Sales Order Management, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, Availability Check, Variant Configuration, Pricing Rate Determination, Shipment and Shipment Cost, GL Account Determination, Batch Management, OTC Cycle (Credit/Debit Memo Processing, Consignment Sales, 3rd party sales, Intercompany sales, Scheduling Agreements, Stock Transfer Orders).

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Requirements Gathering:

- Work closely with business stakeholders, including finance, sales, and logistics teams, to gather, analyze, and document financial and sales processes and needs.

- Conduct workshops and interviews to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable SAP solutions.

- Provide expert advice and recommendations on SAP best practices and process improvements.

Solution Design, Testing & Deployment:

- Design, develop, and test SAP solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Deploy SAP solutions in a controlled and efficient manner, minimizing disruption to business operations.

- Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex technical and functional issues.

End-User Training & Support:

- Develop and deliver end-user training programs and materials to enhance SAP FICO and SD adoption and proficiency.

- Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing their queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, training guides, and knowledge base articles.

SAP Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ABAP developers, Basis administrators, and other SAP module consultants, to integrate SAP FICO and SD with other business modules.

- Ensure seamless data flow and process integration across the SAP landscape.

- Work with external vendors and partners as needed.

Technical Development & Support:

- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO/SD related issues, demonstrating technical awareness of development activities.

- Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) for development objects.

- Perform debugging to identify and resolve issues.

- Implement User Exits, Enhancements, LSMW, BDC applications, BAPIs, BADI development, and background jobs.

- Understand and resolve bank integration related issues.

Sales & Taxation Expertise:

- Possess in-depth knowledge of various sales processes within the entire OTC cycle, including Credit/Debit Memo Processing, Consignment Sales, 3rd party sales, Intercompany sales, Scheduling Agreements, and Stock Transfer Orders.

- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of taxation, including GST development and other relevant tax regulations.

- Expertise in pricing rate determination and shipment/shipment cost calculations.

Master Data Governance (MDG) Integration:

- Experience in integrating business process requirements with the technical implementation of SAP Master Data Governance.

- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across SAP systems.

Documentation & Compliance:

- Create and maintain required documentation, including design specifications, functional specifications, technical specifications, test cases, and user manuals.

- Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an SAP FICO/SD Consultant.

- Proven track record of successful SAP FICO and SD implementations and support.

- Strong understanding of financial and sales processes.

- Excellent configuration and customization skills in SAP FICO and SD modules.

- Technical proficiency in SAP development and integration, including ABAP debugging and enhancement techniques.

- Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) integration.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- SAP certification in FICO or SD is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with S/4HANA.

- Knowledge of industry-specific SAP solutions.

- Project management experience
