Consultant - SAP FICO

Job Description:

- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis (40 hours per month).

- The role is fully remote, offering flexible working hours.

- The consultant will assist with the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of the SAP FICO modules (FI - Financial Accounting, and CO - Controlling) to meet the needs of the business and drive efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP FICO Implementation:

- Assist with the implementation, configuration, and customization of both the SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules, ensuring the system aligns with business requirements and processes.

Configuration & Customization:

- Customize and configure SAP FICO solutions to meet client-specific needs, including settings for General Ledger (FI), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and various CO elements like cost centers, profit centers, and internal orders.

Integration:

- Work closely with other SAP modules (like SAP MM, SD, or HCM) to ensure smooth integration and alignment of financial processes across the system.

Support & Troubleshooting:

- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO issues, resolving problems related to financial transactions, cost tracking, and reporting.

Collaboration with Business Users:

- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements, collect feedback, and ensure SAP FICO solutions are optimized to meet those needs.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure proper functionality of the SAP FICO modules.

Documentation:

- Prepare clear and detailed documentation for configuration, business processes, and any custom developments, ensuring proper knowledge transfer to users and internal teams.

Training:

- Provide training to end-users, helping them understand and efficiently use the SAP FICO system.

Continuous Improvement:

- Propose improvements to SAP FICO processes, suggesting optimizations and best practices to enhance business operations.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

SAP FICO Expertise:

- Strong hands-on experience with both SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and SAP CO (Controlling) modules, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.

Project Experience:

- At least 3-5 years of experience in SAP FICO implementations, configurations, and support, with a proven ability to deliver results.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex issues related to financial transactions, cost analysis, and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration and alignment of business processes.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with business users and team members, especially in a remote setting.

Remote Work Experience:

- Proven experience working remotely and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables.

SAP Certification (Preferred):

- SAP FICO certification or relevant training is a plus.

ERP Experience:

- Experience with other ERP modules (MM, SD) is a plus, but not required.
