Consultant-Risk Advisory Services for BIG 4 Audit firm

Experience -(3 + yrs – Compliance Experience is desirable)

Qualification – CS / LLB

- If also Commerce Graduate then will be preferred

1. Very good understand normal Legal landscape for companies

2. Expert Knowledge and understanding of Compliance Framework:

- Concept of ‘Risk & Control’

- Processes, Sub-processes and Activities as well as their relationship

- Clause 49 of Listing Agreement

- Internal control concepts (e.g. Preventive Controls; Detective Controls; Anti-fraud Controls; etc.);

- Understanding of common laws under different categories like Income Tax and Service Tax in Tax laws, Companies Act under Corporate Laws, factories Act and Provident Fund under Labour Laws etc.

- Ability to interpret and apply statutory provisions

- Understanding of Corporate Governance and its importance for companies

3. Should be able to Use/ Apply tools (i.e. MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word) and audit techniques (e.g. stratified sampling)

4. Understand client requirements, respond promptly to client requests and enquiries and consistently meet client needs.

5. Demonstrate awareness of project quality parameters and incorporate these in preparing client reports.

6. Be able to analysis tools/ techniques in financial modeling

7. Experience of leading teams on different projects and people management skills

8. Should be able to assist in management of large projects and understanding of engagement economics in consulting.

Soft skills

- Communication & Interpersonal – Very good communication and presentation skills, ability to connect well with the client and team members.

- Should be able to handle client meetings independently

- Report writing – clarity of thought, articulation of observation/issues, good command over written language

- Ability to supervise and monitor project progress.
