Job Description : Consultant - Professional Services

Reporting : Regional PS Manager
Objective / Purpose of duty :
The Consultant will be responsible driving the solutions pitch across the key accounts in the region. Consultant will drive the presales engagement for technology solutions and requirements of the client in the areas where DD has offerings. Will be responsible for demand generation, Solution Positioning, Solution architecture across the LoBs and helping the sales team to win the deals.
Main Responsibilities :
Demand generation :
- Act as technical subject matter expert in Communications Practice
- Conduct executive / solution workshops across the LOBs Solution Architecting and Prepare solution deliverables with SOW.
- Engage & understand clients business challenges and translate them into IT solution and articulate them into DD solution value proposition
- Position & sell DD capabilities and ROI
- Create xLOB solutions and lead xLOB solution architectures.
Pre-Sales activities :
- Preparing presentation for clients
- Prepare Design / BOM / SOW.
Project Kick Off.
- Attend project kick off and ensure smooth handover
- Keeping technical partner certifications updated for self
Experience & Qualification :
- Engineering graduate.
- 6+ years of experience with at least 3 + years in Presales / Consulting.
- In-depth capability and understanding of ICT technologies and their application.
- Ability to articulate and develop architectures and roadmaps for clients
- Experience in analyzing client infrastructures.
- Ability to conduct Proof of Concepts for the solution set.
- Ability to produce high-quality written deliverables, including proposals, business cases and plans which convey complex analysis and arguments in a concise manner
- In-Depth knowledge of CC technologies such as IPT, Collaboration, Video (Telepresence, Tandberg) & UCCX/UCCE.
- Should have a consulting experience in Voice/Unified communications, collaboration, Contact Centre, Visual comms and mobility.
- Intermediate knowledge of Routing & Switching technologies specially Cisco Technologies.
- Intermediate knowledge of Security concepts and solutions, including perimeter security, Intrusion Prevention, Vulnerability & Penetration Testing.
- Understanding of Microsoft solutions
- Understanding and experience in Labor Estimating and Project costing techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills - be able to interface with CXO and Senior Management
- Develop technical and solution capabilities for integrated multi LOB solutions for clients
- Should have the ability to understand the clients requirements in-depth and design a solution and defend it successfully
Knowledge, skills, and abilities required :
- Should possess very good written & verbal communication skills along with impactful presentation skills.
- Should be a team player and should possess very good inter-personal skills
- Should have handled different client verticals and has basic selling skills.
- Ability to see and present "the big picture" and offer solutions to create a difference for the clients
- Capability to present to CIO / CXO on value propositions.
