Consultant - Oil & Gas (Upstream) - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role
Our client, a global consulting firm, is currently engaged in assisting an Indian public sector Upstream player in their business and functional transformation efforts across various areas, including HR, procurement, and operations.
Hence, they are seeking a professional with experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas sector to join their team and contribute to the successful execution of this project.
Responsibilities of the consultant:
- Prepare extensive slides and presentations to effectively communicate information
- Conduct detailed analysis using Excel to gather insights and support decision-making
- Develop well-structured viewpoints and responses to client inquiries
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement recommendations and ensure successful outcomes
- Take ownership of allocated tasks and apply a project management framework for their effective delivery
- Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Implement recommended solutions and provide necessary assistance to clients throughout the process
- Maintain effective communication and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
- Take on the overall module management responsibilities while working collaboratively with the rest of the team
An ideal candidate would have:
- 5+ years of experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering or an MBA degree is preferred
- Possess a strong business understanding and proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication skills and senior stakeholder management skillset
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 12-month contract. The consultant is expected to be based out of Delhi and will also be required to travel extensively to client locations.
