Consultant - Legal - BFSI

Professionals must have fintech experience and 6-8 years of P.Q.E and should be willing to work from office in Bangalore.

The roles and responsibilities are :

1. Provide contractual, legal, and regulatory support for all activities of the Company.

2. Work on banking and payments regulations in India and execute related compliance actions.

3. Undertake in-depth legal research into a variety of complex regulations and help implement processes and policies.

4. Contract Lifecycle Management: Ability to independently structure, draft, review, negotiate, execute, and maintain contracts efficiently (all the commercial agreements applicable to a banking/fintech sector).

5. Negotiation: Ability and skills to negotiate contracts with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (including regulatory bodies and financial institutions).

6. Transactional experience: Provide advisory on structuring, audits, and other private equity/merger related transactions in the future. Ability to communicate and work with other teams.

7. Legal Opinion: Able to advise, support and guide stakeholders by providing well-reasoned legal opinions. You will be required to provide general day to day legal advice and support to other departments including Banking Alliances, Product, Finance, Sales & Marketing, People & Culture, Risk & KYC, etc.

8. Disputes: Coordination with law enforcement and statutory authorities. Ability to draft notices and prepare responses to notices received by the Company.
