Summary :
- As a member of the Human Resources Department, the Consultant will be responsible for managing the HR Consulting Function by providing strategic HR consulting & advisory services and designing & roll-out of HR program initiatives for the Business Managers in order to support their People Agenda.
Principal Responsibilities :
- The Human Resources Consultant will be responsible for Consulting with all levels of management to translate business requirements into overall people strategy, in addition to managing all facets of Human Resources with regard to compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, employment policies, market surveys and employee relations both locally and globally.
- Develops and implements programs that support individual and organisational objectives that are aligned with Business Unit and/or enterprise-wide needs. Act as an advisory for non-routine requests for information on policy interpretation.
- Consults with Management on the interpretation of corporate Human Resources policies, Develops the communication plans for the business units regarding the Human Resources policies, practices and procedures.
- Oversees the administration and delivery within the business unit(s) for performance management, talent management, total compensation administration, post control, affirmative action, educational assistance and training and development programs. Participate in the design, development and implementation of innovative workforce retention programs.
- Proactively identifies necessary human resources policy or program changes and recommends alternative practices to the appropriate Human Resources area.
- Participates in or leads special committees or councils in an effort to strategically develop, implement and administer HR programs and policies for the organization. Prepare and maintain special internal and external reports as required by the HR and Management
- Conducts the performance management process, provides input for hiring and disciplinary actions, develops talent management and succession plans and provides hands-on training to staff as appropriate.
- Provide review and consultative services for reorganizations/realignments.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience :
The ideal candidate for this role should have :
- MBA certification with specialization in Human Resources from a good Management School
- 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a HR Consulting/Business Partnership capacity
- Experience in managing cross-functional HR capabilities in a multi-national Banking & Financial Services captive organisation
- Demonstrated values of personal integrity, humility, commitment, stability and hard work in prior assignments
- Good and positive personality with excellent inter-personal communication skills
