Consultant - Fund Accounting - Big4 - CA

BNC is hiring for Big 4 for Fund Accounting role at consultant level for Bangalore/Chennai/Mumbai/Pune location

1. Incumbents are typically project team members who will be involved in providing financial reporting, accounting and advisory support to clients

2. Application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) under US GAAP/ UK GAAP/ Luxemburg GAAP/ IFRS

3. Financial reporting support (technical as well process related) services to clients in US GAAP//

4. UK GAAP/ Luxemburg GAAP/ IFRS

5. Meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality

6. Consistently deliver high quality client services and take charge of the project area assigned to him/her

7. Monitor progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes

8. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge, Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge

9. The job would require travel to client locations within India and abroad

Desired Candidate Profile

1. CA with 0 to 3 years of relevant experience

2. Experience in preparation of financial statements/ financial reporting/ fund accounting

3. Experience of financial reporting under US GAAP/UK GAAP/IFRS/ Luxemburg GAAP and various other GAAPs. Past working experience in accounting, financial reporting and regulatory reporting would be an added advantage

4. Understanding of fund accounting for Private Equity/ Mutual Funds/ Hedge Funds would be an added advantage

5. Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time

6. Have the ability to work under pressure - stringent timelines and tough client conditions
