Market Job Description :
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compensation programs designed to meet company and business unit needs.
- Partners with HR staff and managers as an internal consultant to develop base and incentive compensation programs and to resolve complex issues which require an evaluation of various factors.
- Exercises judgment within broadly defined policies and practices in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
- Participates in or may conduct salary surveys, analyzes internal and external compensation data utilizing quantitative, financial and statistical tools, and manages special projects.
- Reviews and recommends new or revised job classifications. Reviews existing and proposed compensation laws and regulations and recommends appropriate course of action.
- May develop ad hoc reports to analyze specific compensation-related issues such as turnover and report findings and recommendations to management. May manage the compensation function for a business unit.
