Business Intelligence Consultant - NBFC - Contractual Role

Our client, one of the largest NBFCs, is currently looking for a business intelligence consultant to join their team in Mumbai on a 12 months contract. Currently, the function is managed by an external partner and they would like to start building the capability internally.
The consultant will be responsible for collecting and analysing large amounts of data, identifying trends and patterns, and creating reports to assist in making strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting tools, as well as experience working with various data sources.
Below summarises the role responsibilities:- Collecting and analysing large amounts of data from various sources
- Designing and maintaining databases and data systems
- Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
- Developing reports, dashboards and visualizations to present data insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures for data management and reporting
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and making recommendations for enhancing data quality and reporting efficiency
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence
An ideal candidate would have:
- 2 to 8 years of experience in business reporting and analysis
- Experience of having worked with a financial services firm
This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 12-month contract. The consultant will be required to be on-site in Mumbai for the duration of the project. This contract has an opportunity to be converted into a full time role after 12 months.
