Consultant - Big Data Analytics - Insurance Data Service Centre

- Big Data Analytics Consultant for a leading Insurance Data Services Center of Excellence

- Proven ability in model building and application experience in data mining techniques and tools (SAS and/or other modeling packages like R, Matlab, Mathematica, ILOG etc)

- Competent programming aptitude with excellent computation and data mining skills (with expertise in using SAS and/or SQL)

- Exposure to Hadoop platform and to Visualization tools like Spotfire, Tableau / Qlikview

- ~6-8 years- work experience in advanced analytics working for analytics organizations of a large corporate or with consulting companies in analytics roles.

- Post -Graduate degree from a renowned institution in any advanced analytic oriented discipline including but not limited to Statistics, Marketing Science, Operations Research, Econometrics, Stochastic Finance, Machine learning, Distributed and parallel computing, or an MBA with a quantitative focus
