Consultant/AM_UK Tax
- Experience in working on UK Tax compliance and /or advisory assignments including preparation and filing of UK Tax returns for individuals. Reasonable exposure and understanding of concepts of international tax. Desired/good to have attributes
- Working technical knowledge of UK Tax to understand one or more specialised areas of work
- Research and analyse data for technical support to colleagues and managers, identifying potential issues
- Produce a well-supported piece of technical research in a professional format suitable for review
- Deliver a referenced tax computation, supported by completed checklists and preparers notes, ready for review by the assistant manager/ manager
- Able to complete simple tax accounting and disclosures for accounts
- Regularly attend client meetings
- Bring agreed billing dates to the attention of the relevant Manager/ Senior Manager/Associate Director and support as required in drafting billing proposals
- Complete all mandatory compliance training by the required deadline
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrates high professional ethics
- Adaptable, willing to learn and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Self-starter, self-motivated, and able to work without frequent direct supervision
- Act as a team player and provide extended support to Assistant Manager / Manager in meeting varied business requirements.
