Consultant - Actuarial Investment Strategy

Location - Work from Home.

Timings - UK shift

Organisation - Startup in US by an Industry veteran into Pension fund advisory.

Description:

The role is a broad and diverse role supporting the senior consultant in all aspects of strategy, investment, and risk management advice, including:

- new business introductions/pitches

- financial strategy project advice, including contextualizing relative to key financial metrics e.g., earnings, balance sheet, P&L etc

- managing strategic asset allocation (SAA) and risk management project recommendations

- building asset and liability risk management solutions including liability driven investments ("LDI"), solvency, decumulation and pension risk transfer (PRT) strategies

The candidate will have up to 5 years of experience and:

- will have a strong understanding of actuarial valuation and statistical techniques with experience of performing complex financial modelling tasks from first principles

- is comfortable working under own initiative with a demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines and working under time pressures

- has good communication skills
