Job Description :
- The incumbent is responsible for the management, control, evaluating and execution for all activities for the construction in accordance with the company plan and government regulation
- The incumbent is also expected to coordinate closely with project members and related parties, including prime contractors, suppliers, government authorities amongst others

Description :
- Manage the new plant construction and complete the following tasks by leading and directing the contractors and team members (Plant engineer(s), Safety leader, General affairs will be joined to the team).
Design Verification:
- Check the layout, building and facilities design, the work process, budget and material suppliers in cooperation with engineering colleagues.
Licenses to construct:
- Check the necessary licenses to construct.
- Apply and obtain the necessary licenses.
Construction Management:
- Site-supervise of the construction.
- Manage the leveling and fencing work of the land.
- Manage the progress of civil/structural engineering work, equipment fabrication and installment.
- Deal with plan change in cooperation with prime contractors and internal engineering team.
- Control the budget and payment.
- Negotiate the price with prime contractors.
- Verify the quality of the work.
- Provide guidance to contractors on safety and health measures.
- Hold regular meetings to share the progress with team members
- Cope with the queries or inspections from the authorities.
- Report to designated person time to time when incidents or accidents occur.
Licenses to operate:
- Check the necessary licenses to operate the new plant.
- Apply and obtain the necessary licenses.
- Cope with the inspections by the authorities.
Preparation for production:
- Arrange the commissioning.
- Final check of the construction work.
Profile :
- A successful candidate would ideally be a Chemical Engineer from a reputed college with at-least 15 years of experience in a chemical plant (preferably resin manufacturing) having handled greenfield projects independently
