Position : Computer Forensic

Location: Bangalore

Client : Leading BIG 4 Consulting firm

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role requires working within the computer forensic team as part of fraud investigation engagements. Responsibilities of the role would require interactions with client personnel to understand processes and policies, and performing in-depth reviews and analysis to enable the engagement team to draw factual and logical conclusions. The candidate would also assist in writing confidential reports. The candidate should be able to plan and execute in a timely and efficient manner tasks assigned to them, delivering high quality results. The candidate should be receptive to client needs and be able to appreciate the sensitivities of an investigation engagement and operate under high confidentiality.

THE INDIVIDUAL

- Should have sound knowledge of forensic best practices and evidence handling protocols.

- Should have relevant prior experience in disk imaging and analysis.

- Sound understanding of operating system concepts, file systems, networking and servers.

- Should have strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.

- Strong analytical bent of mind and structured problem solving approach.

- Strong ability to think out-of-the box and creative bent of mind.

- Ability to do quick thinking and respond in sensitive situations.

- Should be able to work well in a team.

- Adaptability to a dynamic environment often accompanied by shifting priorities and stringent deadlines

- The role would be client facing and will require travel within the country and overseas.

QUALIFICATION

- Should demonstrate expert-level experience in the use of forensic tools (e.g. EnCase®, Forensic Toolkit®, Xways®, etc.) along with ability to articulate, in detail, the processes being conducted by these forensic tools.

- Computer forensics degree or certifications from a reputed institute.
