Job Description :


- To deal with, handle and assume over responsibility for all regulatory matters with respect to company business, working with various regulatory bodies such as IRDA, RBI, ROC, FIPB etc and ensuring compliances with all regulatory requirements of such bodies.

- To provide advice to management and staff on regulatory matters, including anticipated changes to regulatory requirements that will impact on Company's business activities and compliance arrangements.

- To identify new laws and regulations applicable to the Company and achieve its implementation across the functions.

- To review health insurance products and related documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of IRDA such as:

a. Policy Documents including Product T&C, Insurance Certificate, Proposal form, Product Benefit Table etc.

b. Marketing and branding activities

c. Customer communications

d. Promotional materials and advertisements

e. Sales and distribution material

- To review training material/ manuals and business processes from compliance perspective.

- To review of internal processes of all functions such as operations, customer services, claims, underwriting, Provider function, licensing, sales, marketing etc.

- To develop and implement compliance systems, processes and controls.

- To develop and implement systems, processes and controls for IRDA reporting and ensure timely reporting with IRDA and Board as per statutory requirements.

- To ensure and implement regulatory compliance in telemarketing and other alternative business channels

- To provide compliance guidance to various functions on applicable laws and regulations, ethics, and internal standards

- To review referral arrangements, Corporate Agency Licensing and filing for approval with IRDA

- To conduct compliance workshops & training for various functions on applicable compliances as and when required.

- To assist in identification of regulatory risks, implications and recommend actions for mitigating those risks.

- To monitor customer complaints and complaints routed from IRDA complaints cell.

- To review and ensure implementation of underwriting Policy of the Company in all products underwriting manuals and processes.

- To extend full support to Head - Legal & Compliances in legal and regulatory functions, develop and hone legal skills and to assume new and challenging responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time for overall development.

- Ensure judicious use of natural resources

- Adhere to the environment health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization
