Compliance Officer - Gift City

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines in India, Gift City, ADGM, and the UK.

- Monitor and implement regulatory updates across jurisdictions.

- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Liaison with Regulators:

- Act as the primary point of contact with regulators such as SEBI, GIFT IFSC, FSRA (ADGM), and FCA (UK).

- Manage filings, reports, and responses to regulatory queries and inspections.

Fund Compliance:

- Oversee compliance with fund-specific regulations, including AIF regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), and know-your-customer (KYC) guidelines.

- Ensure accurate and timely filing of reports, disclosures, and investor communications.

Reporting:

- Prepare detailed compliance reports for the management and board.

- Maintain records of compliance activities and regulatory filings.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to funds in India, GIFT IFSC, ADGM, and the UK.

- Experience in handling compliance for AIFs and other fund structures.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with Private Equity (PE) funds, Venture Capital (VC) funds, or private credit funds is essential.
