Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor compliance with the International Financial Services Centres Authority ('IFSCA') Act and the Special Economic Zone ('SEZ') Act regulations, oversee operational adherence to guidelines and notifications, address investor grievances, manage regulatory reporting, and liaise with authorities to ensure seamless compliance;

2. Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to management, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements;

3. Oversee compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring proper record maintenance and adherence to regulatory standards;

4. Develop and review company policies;

5. Possess in-depth knowledge of Fund Management Entity operations, fund procedures, and regulatory frameworks, including IFSCA and SEBI guidelines;

6. Strong understanding of RBI and FEMA regulations, including compliance requirements specific to IFSC in GIFT City;

7. Responsible for drafting and submitting regulatory responses to SEZ authorities, IFSCA, and other relevant regulators;

8. In-depth knowledge of taxation, including Indian Income Tax, withholding tax, GST, and related regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- At least 5 years' experience in a compliance or operational role in the financial services entities

- Professional qualification or post graduate degree/ diploma (minimum 2 years in duration) in finance, law, accountancy, business management, commerce, economics, capital market, banking, insurance or actuarial science from a recognized Indian or foreign university/ institution; or

- Certification from any organization/ institution/ association/ stock exchange recognized/ accredited by a regulator in India or Foreign jurisdiction
