Responsibilities:
Tracking and Interpretation of RBI Guidelines:
- Monitor and track regulatory updates and guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- Interpret RBI guidelines, analyze their impact on the organization, and derive actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate regulatory requirements and ensure understanding across relevant departments.
Implementation Oversight:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of RBI guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate discussions and provide guidance to internal teams on compliance measures and necessary actions.
- Monitor progress on implementation efforts and follow through to ensure compliance with RBI regulations.
Interfacing with RBI:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for interfacing with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- Address queries and actionables arising from RBI guidelines, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Liaise with RBI officials for various requirements, audits, and inspections, ensuring smooth coordination and adherence to regulatory expectations.
Audit Management:
- Coordinate and facilitate audits conducted by the RBI or external auditors, ensuring compliance with audit protocols and timelines.
- Follow through on audit actionables, collaborating with internal teams to address findings and implement corrective measures.
- Prepare documentation and reports as required for audit purposes, maintaining comprehensive - records of audit activities and outcomes.
Compliance Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare periodic compliance reports summarizing adherence to RBI guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities, including policies, procedures, and records of communication with RBI officials.
- Ensure that all compliance-related documentation is organized, accessible, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Skills Required:
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), particularly in the context of the financial industry.
- Ability to interpret RBI guidelines and translate them into actionable steps for implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams and regulatory authorities.
- Experience in coordinating audits and inspections, with a focus on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and addressing audit findings.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly in maintaining accurate documentation and records of compliance activities.
- Proactive approach to compliance management, with the ability to anticipate regulatory changes and their potential impact on the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and compliance frameworks relevant to the financial industry.
