Compliance Advisory Role - NBFC

- Provide Compliance Guidance: Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance matters related to banking and financial services, ensuring adherence to RBI guidelines, regulations, and policies.

- Regulatory Interpretation: Interpret and communicate complex regulatory requirements and changes to relevant departments within the organization.

- Compliance Monitoring: Oversee the compliance framework, monitor internal processes, and ensure that the organization is compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

- Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and review of compliance policies, procedures, and controls in line with RBI directives.

- Risk Assessment: Conduct compliance risk assessments to identify potential gaps and vulnerabilities, providing recommendations for risk mitigation.

- Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and awareness programs to enhance employees' understanding of compliance requirements.

- Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance reports to RBI and senior management, detailing the organization's compliance status and areas of improvement.

- Internal Audits: Collaborate with the internal audit team to facilitate compliance-related audits and examinations.

- External Interactions: Serve as a point of contact for RBI inspections, inquiries, and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

- Regulatory Updates: Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices, and proactively communicate the implications to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in compliance and risk management are desirable.

- Prior experience in compliance advisory roles within the banking or financial services sector.

- Thorough knowledge of RBI regulations, guidelines, and circulars.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
