1.0 Job Summary :
This role provides guidance on any compensation or benefit issues, manages day to day benefit support, participates in specific projects, and conducts analyses of employee data to support the efforts of the HR team and business partners. Incumbent will be responsible for the execution of the organization's global compensation and employee benefits programs worldwide. The incumbent will ensure that the administration, compliance, and communication of the company's total rewards offerings align with business objectives and program. This role will be based at our Bangalore office and will report Into Senior HR Operations Manager
Success in this role requires a comprehensive understanding of different countries base/fixed, variable and executive compensation practices, combined with experience in administering employee benefits programs, including but not limited to health and welfare, retirement savings and leave of absence administration programs. The incumbent will engage in and reflect a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and disciplined practices and processes that deliver results, operating with moderate supervision.
2.0 Principle Duties and Responsibilities :
- Serve as the key internal resource globally for managers, HR peer group and employees on compensation and benefit policies, plans, programs, practices, processes, and tools to support the organizational capability related to the management and development of people
- Partner with other HR team members and functional areas to investigate and resolve escalated employee issues
- Drive annual processes such as, compensation reviews, reporting requests, and benefit enrolment cycles
- Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies in compensation decisions
- Prepares reports and analysis of compensation data. Partners with HR Business Partners and Management to review findings and recommendations
- Assists in the development, maintenance, and administration of pay programs including salary structure changes, annual salary increase programs, annual and long-term bonus plans, etc
- Performs market pricing analyses. Evaluates job worth using standard job evaluation techniques; determines placement in pay ranges
- Support effective and timely communications to employees
- Maintain records and plan documents necessary for administration
- Manage the data processes required by internal and external sources, including resolving data errors and partnering with HRIS as needed
- Assist with compliance regarding internal & external audit requirements and corporate policies
- Partner with HRIS to maintain systems related to compensation and benefits administration
- Assist In the development of training and communication materials
3.0 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Proficient with global employee and executive/leadership compensation structure, different surveys and administration of compensation cycles/reviews
- Advanced level MS Excel skill to analyse various data
- Advisory skills (understanding business issues, conducting analysis, formulating opinions, and providing recommendations)
- Relationship building skills
- Ability to actively listen and diagnose a problem
- Interpersonal communication
- Able to handle a high level of confidential employee information
- Good time management, communication, decision making, presentation, and interpersonal skills
4.0 Education and Experience :
- MBA/ related master's degree in full time/regular course from a recognised university and institute is must.
- 5+ years of global compensation and benefits administration, professional analytical experience is must
- Should have experience in handling compensation & benefits of US, UK, France, Middle East, SEA and India
- Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical background with an ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- General knowledge of HR practices, labour and pay laws, and regulations
