Compensation Manager
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in a compensation role with increasing responsibility.
- Previous experience designing total reward & programs including in the areas of base, variable, and incentives.
- Strong excel and presentation skills including an exceptional ability to provide influence.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and varied projects.
- Able to build strong relationships with managers, HRBPs, Talant teams as well as building trust with leadership
- Able to navigate through ambiguous objectives efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail. Ability to use data tell the story and to model outcomes.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of customers, Company personnel and others.
- Knowledge of HR systems to support compensation needs.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, and resource modeling.
- Genuine interest in people-oriented work; must display a positive and caring attitude.
- Handles confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion.
- Demonstrates Northern Tool + Equipment's 12 Core Competencies.
- Not sure if we need to list it here but would want to add something about ability to work a flex shift to accommodate US time zones.
