Job Overview:
The Engagement & D&I Lead at Compass Group India will drive a culture of inclusivity, engagement, and well-being by leading Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiatives, employee engagement strategies, and corporate HR business partnering. This role will oversee D&I programs, training, and awareness efforts, support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and track key inclusion metrics. Additionally, they will lead engagement activities, including company-wide celebrations, recognition programs, workplace certifications, and well-being initiatives focused on mental, social, and physical health. By aligning these efforts with business objectives, the role will foster a workplace where employees feel valued, empowered, and connected.
Key Responsibilities:
Diversity & Inclusion:
- Drive D&I Initiatives: Develop and implement a robust D&I strategy and deliver on focussed interventions to bring to life the D&I culture in the organization, that aligns with Compass Group India's values and business goals.
- Training & Awareness: Ensures training sessions and workshops are in place to raise awareness re diversity, equity, and inclusion on areas like unconscious bias, gender equity, accessibility, and cultural sensitivity.
- Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Support and facilitate ERGs to ensure they provide meaningful support and advocacy for underrepresented groups within the company.
- D&I Metrics & Reporting: Regularly track and report on diversity and inclusion metrics, ensuring continuous improvement across the organization.
Engagement & Employee Wellbeing:
- Employee Engagement Activities: Drive the strategy and execution of the employee engagement framework, fostering open communication and collaboration across teams. Includes leading company-wide celebrations, Engagement surveys, community engagement and organization's workplace certification; all of which drives strong and meaningful employee engagement throughout.
- Rewards & Recognition Programs: Enhance and manage employee recognition programs, consistently refining them to align with evolving business needs and foster a culture of appreciation.
- Wellbeing: Manage and enhance programs and policies focused on mental, social and physical well-being, including training programs, focussed interventions, tools and resources, and access to mental health platform.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in employee engagement, D&I initiatives, or human resources, with a proven track record of designing and executing successful programs.
- Education: Bachelor/Masters Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields (required).
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to changing needs and priorities.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to create data-driven strategies.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS, survey tools, and other engagement platforms.
- Strategic Leadership: Ability to design and implement long-term D&I and engagement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong collaboration and influencing skills to work effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure engagement and inclusion impact through metrics.
- Program Management: Expertise in executing large-scale initiatives, including workplace certifications, well-being programs, and employee recognition frameworks.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HRIS, survey tools, employee engagement platforms, and digital learning solutions to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
- Communication & Storytelling: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives to engage employees at all levels.
- Adaptability & Agility: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of navigating evolving business needs while maintaining strategic focus.
