Compass Group - DGM/GM - Procurement

Compass Group is the largest B2B contract food & support service company in the world with FY22 revenue at GBP 30 Billion, servicing 5.5 Billion meals per year across 40 countries and 55,000 client locations.

We are looking for Deputy General Manager/General Manager in our Procurement team at our Head Office in Gurugram reporting to Chief Procurement and Supply Chain Officer.

Key responsibility areas:

- Create and implement Procurement strategy aligned with the business needs

- Develop & empanel new vendors (Services, materials, machinery & consumables)

- Finalization of rate contracts, and timely renewal of existing contracts

- Ensure timely supply of material and services to the sites against requisition

- Supplier Relationship management

- Drive Sustainable sourcing agenda for Compass.

- Support annual Budgeting exercise

- New site mobilization support

- Identify and implement Procurement savings by using different procurement levers like reverse auctions, rate contracts, rebate agreements etc.

- Stakeholder engagement

- Keeping track on latest technologies in the market and appraising management over the same.

- Ensuring engagement and motivation of staff through team development and mentoring

Skills and Experience:

1. Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills

2. Strong Negotiation skills

3. Excellent analytical skills and data orientation with advanced ability in Excel etc.

4. Min. 12-15 years experience in Facility Management Procurement, and has good understanding of the business

5. High sense of ownership and commitment
