Community Moderator/Social Media Manager - IT

Our client is a global leader in software product development and technology services, with over 8,000 team members worldwide. They are scouting for Community Moderator and Social Media Manager and position is based out of Pune but they are flexible to have it in Bangalore too.

Role Description :

- The Community Moderator and Social Media manager will help manage Online Social presence and identify new public and private communities with the target audience to engage them actively. This role will also require that you are able to create some market facing content and also work with content provided by product teams to re-purpose them for community use.

Responsibilities :

- Writes post and manages the company blog

- Creates daily/ regular content for Facebook, Twitter, Google+

- Seek new communities and forums to troll and engage audience

- Acts as moderator for all channels by interacting with audience, answering questions, and starting conversations

- Works with Editorial and Marketing teams to support site initiatives and develop new ideas

- Builds relationship and network with colleagues, clients and the media

- Monitors the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs, for opportunities for the studio

- Researches, writes and distributes press releases to targeted media

Desired Skills and Experience :

- 4-5 years social media experience (strong internship experience if no full-time experience)

- 5-6 years writing experience

- Excellent communication skills: oral and written

- Passionate about Social Media

- Familiarity with Social analytics

- Is resourceful and creative when it comes to developing content from limited assets

- Willing to work under tight deadlines, same-day assignment requests and understands the power of - now-

- Loves games, comic books, movies and music

- Has the ability to spot trends and create unique stories around trending searches

- Good organization skills and strong attention to detail

- Open for flexible working hours to support global work environments.

Salary Range: 12 - 20 LPA
