Job Description :

- An opportunity to be responsible for strategic communications of a global chemicals business with a strong focus on digital platforms to help elevate the visibility of the brand globally with specific focus on the India and the Middle East market.

Client Details :

Our client is one of the leading specialty chemical players with presence in more than 75 countries all over the world. They are a market leader within their product portfolio. With a solid share of business in the country and the region, they are now focused on having a robust Communications function. They are looking to hire a Communication Lead based out of Mumbai.

Description :

Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate Communications, you will be responsible to:

- Plan, edit, write, design, and post content for a variety of communications channels, such as the employee intranet, employee announcements, external website and social media

- Work with cross-functional departments to develop strategies and build awareness for various communications campaigns

- Drive communications content calendar, planning and messaging with a consideration for internal and external audiences, helping people engage in global channels and stories that underscore the brand vision and strategy

- Measure the impact and effectiveness of communications campaigns to improve short-term and long-term strategies; make recommendations for improvements to content based on insights and best practices

- Support leader communications around events and brand initiatives with presentation creation, crafting memos, talking points, and video scripts

- Help manage company social media along with the administration of internal channels

- In collaboration with the regional communications manager for Emerging Markets and China, ensure that the company's messages and communications are consistent and timely for all key audiences

Profile :

- My client is looking for a minimum 6-10 years of experience and track record of strong relationship-building skills and working in a matrix organization with leaders and cross-functional colleagues, etc.

- Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills with a knack for storytelling and the ability to translate complex concepts into simple and compelling messaging for very different audiences is important.

- Excellent, proven project management experience; the ability to run multiple projects simultaneously while also developing effective communications under time constraints, including in urgent, critical, or crisis situations is desirable. Creativity with basic desktop/video editing and publishing skills is great to have.
