Commodity Trading Analyst

Role Summary:

This role will consist of physical trading and paper trading with a focus on the Indian domestic market. The role will require candidate to work and complete training in SG for first year. After training, this will be a full-time job, based in Mumbai, India. The ideal candidate is a clear communicator and self-starter who demonstrates great ability to work both independently and within a team setting, especially while attempting to solve challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Collect and organize information related to assigned commodities and establish a comprehensive database.

- Conduct research, analysis, and prepare regular reports on assigned commodities.

- Develop and expand upstream and downstream resources, while establishing reliable procurement and sales channels.

- Devise commodity futures and financial derivatives hedging strategies and oversee position management.

- Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

- Graduation/Post graduation in a relevant field.

- Strong logical thinking, language and writing abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Demonstrated practicality, diligence, and self-motivation. Having strong passion in commodity trading mkt is a must.

- Fluent in English (a must) and Chinese (preferred) to facilitate communication with stakeholders in China.

- Fresh graduates from top-tier institutions are encouraged to apply, 0-3 years of experience preferred.
