- Responsible for developing data extraction and analysis methodology and process within applications to assess risk/controls and propose solutions to mgmt.

- Demonstrates thorough knowledge and analytic abilities in leading the development of quantitative data analysis and data mining solutions in support of internal audits and/or in response to regulatory compliance-related inquiries.

- This includes, but is not limited to, the following: developing highly complex data analysis applications, working with predictive analysis/modeling methods that promote prevention or early detection of risk conditions, assessment of data quality and its potential impact on analyses, identifying new and innovative methods and tools for incorporation into data analysis practice, development of rules to detect fraudulent or non-compliant transactions, and development of executive-level reports to summarize results.

- Proven project management abilities. Mentors Integrated, IT, and Data Analytics audit staff regarding advanced to expert data analysis concepts and tools.

Responsibilities :

- Use strategic and critical thinking skills to develop the identification of opportunities to utilize data analysis in the assessment of risk and controls and other operational processes. Supervise audit assignments and data specific projects

- Navigating within technology environments to locate, validate, extract, and format data for data analysis testing.

- Reviewing the documentation for the analysis in accordance with audit policy.

- Training and mentoring audit teams in the use of data analysis and data analysis tools.

- Partnering with assigned audit teams to build expertise in the use of data analysis within the internal audit function.

SQL developer on a SQL server :

- Experiences in developing/ creating databases/tables in SQL server,

- Can write stored procs and SSIS packages on SQL server,

- Can create/ edit SSRS reports,

- Integrate data acquisition from vendor agnostic databases into SQL server and output data to downstream databases/flat files/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau,

- Can integrate SharePoint sites with SQL Server

- Enhance/improve code performance, etc.

- Create/edit schedule jobs

- Trouble shoot into issues on sql server database/scripts/jobs

Essential Qualifications :

Total work experience :

- 10+ years of analytics experience, audit experience, or a combination of both

- 3+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualification :

- Certification in one or more of the following: CPA, CA, CAMS, CRCM, CIA, CISA or Commissioned Bank Examiner designation

- A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or business administration
