Sales Planning
- Responsible for active involvement in the entire sales planning of the region
- Responsible for managing the trade load management as well as advising on finalisation of the ‘terms of trade ‘ with the channel partners
Facilitating Regional ManCom
- Liasoning with EO team for relevant and required MIS
- Arranging and anchoring regional mancom
- Preparing and circulating minutes to regional and central team
Statutory audit & Internal audit
- Co-ordinating with auditors as well as cross-functional teams to ensure proper compliance and upto date MIS
- Ensure timely and proper closure of audit, in co-ordination with RCFM
Budgeting and actual tracking
- Budgeting Finance overheads in co-ordination with RCFM
- Compile budget data and documents for sales budget based on estimated revenues and expenses and previous budget.
- Monthly tracking of regional overheads (all functions) - budget vs. actuals
Key involvement in projects
- Spearheading regional projects like, TQM projects
- Being an active member of long-term strategic projects, like profitability improvement, UCA reduction, etc.
Receivables Management
- Monitor status of receivables and accounts to ensure that payments are upto date
- Regular tracking of BRS ageing & acting upon more than 7 days SAP unrealised collections
- Monthly review of Debtors ageing
- AACO and Bank Guarantee
- Cheque bouncing
- Special party payments
- Scrap sales
Liasoning with banks
- Monitor remittance of funds and liasoning with banks to reduce float in the system and thus ensure better working capital management
Spearheading new initiatives
- Implementation of new systems, like RTGS collection, online processing, cheque centralisation, etc.
- Preparing & circulating SOPs for Accounts and Commercial Manual
- Take lead and support online claim processing system and validate control/ improvements for future process changes
Single window responsibility for Sales team
- Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to enable sales operations in the region and ensure effective service to sales team
Finished Goods / Depot management
- Finished goods valuation
- Tracking & reviewing stock-age with cross-functional teams, Sales and Replenishment, to ensure timely liquidation & minimum write-off
- Regular tracking and circulation of stock freshness at depot-level
- Block stock management
- Active role in depot audits and regular physical stock count
