Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
- Develop project-level procurement related financial management policies and procedures, oversee compliance, reporting and periodic review.
- Provide oversight to the procurement specialists in purchase order processing and problem resolution o reconciliation process and adjustment resolution.
- Work with contracts team on helping resolve procurement issues.
- Conduct contract audits
- Examine and test existing contracts
- Supervise and evaluate effectiveness of procurement processes, suggesting tools and changes for more efficient and effective order processing and customer service.
- Track budget
- Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
