Job Description:
Costing of Product:
- Manage and oversee the costing process for products manufactured within the Protective Packaging Division.
- Ensure accurate calculation of costs including direct and indirect expenses, overheads, and margins.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize costs and improve profitability.
General Accounting:
- Supervise and lead the general accounting activities of the division.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles and standards.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
SAP Environment:
- Utilize SAP systems effectively for financial transactions, reporting, and analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies in SAP usage.
Book Finalization:
- Lead the preparation and finalization of annual financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate with auditors for smooth completion of statutory audits.
MIS Reports:
- Prepare and submit various management information system (MIS) reports on a regular basis.
- Analyze financial data and present insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Taxation:
- Stay updated with tax regulations and ensure compliance.
- Manage tax planning and filing activities effectively.
Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory control processes to optimize stock levels and minimize holding costs.
- Implement efficient inventory management practices.
Statutory and Internal Audit:
- Coordinate and facilitate statutory audits as per regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure internal controls and compliance with policies.
Coordination:
- Facilitate effective coordination internally within departments and externally with auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration and communication across functions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Leadership: Ability to lead a team and manage cross-functional tasks effectively.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and cost management.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
