Commercial Lead - FMCG

Position will be responsible for Service Delivery of Commercial Scope (Marketing Insights, Revenue Management & Category Management) from SSC. Will be responsible for driving efficiencies in service delivery and ensuring right strategic direction is provided wrt service scope and leading practices.

Position will require liaisoning with business & Shared Service teams on a frequent basis & meeting business targets.

Main Accountabilities

Leadership & Coaching:

- Lead a team of direct & indirect reportees in the SSC

- Perform people management - addressing escalations, performing team motivation & recognition etc.

- Provide guidance to the team (basis discussions with business users)

100% achievement of business targets:

- Participate in business planning and target setting exercises with the senior leadership from Europe

- Drive growth in Commercial business, introduce new initiatives & best practices

- Manage business portfolio and define strategies, priorities and changes

- Responsible for identifying, recommending, and implementing operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of the processes

- Responsible for achievement & delivery of all business KPIs & metrics

Resource Allocation:

- Ensure appropriate resource allocation for requests received from European business teams

Project & Stakeholder Management:

- Liaison with Europe leadership on a periodic basis (for overall service delivery performance, approval on high level business case, unresolved escalation etc.)

- Accountable to ensure proper communication is delivered to the stakeholders on status of critical issues on a timely & frequent basis (ensure forging excellent working relationships with the client leadership)

- Liaison with other SSC Leads (on a frequent basis)

Experience

- Established track record for delivering shared services engagement

- Prior experience in consumer goods/retail industry

- Prior experience with clients in Europe

- Rich experience in team management & building

- Experience in Liasoning with multiple stakeholders
