CA/MBA(Finance) with 15-20 years of experience from FMCG organisation in sales commercial.
Job Description:
- Ensures adherence to all set guidelines and financial management practices / accounting principles within the Sales Commercial function; Established mechanisms for controls to ensure on-time completion of all requirements
- Directs and supervises all basic accounting activities (e.g. bill passing, reconciliation, preparation of vouchers – journal/Cash/Bank, making book keeping entries into the respective ledgers, monitoring creditors and debtors control etc.) across the Regional and Corporate office
- Verifies and authorises expenses of Regional offices / depots and C & F Agents
- Disburses funds for depot expenses such as rent for go-down, miscellaneous expenses, commission & for tax payment
- Attends to all sales tax related issues including collections and processing of statutory forms
- Executes monthly sales tax payments, calculation of taxes verification, cross verification of accounts, follow up assessments with the Legal / Taxation Departments
- Attends to payment issues related to sundry parties, C & F Agents and transporters
- Ensures correct authorisation of journal vouchers, bank vouchers & cash vouchers
- Ensures timely data back-ups timely from Regional Offices and Corporate office for MIS purpose
- Ensures full & final settlement of all debtors’ accounts & completes all necessary formalities for the same
- Takes responsibility for all bank reconciliation statements for Corporate and Regional Offices
- Takes responsibility for the security deposit collected from various parties and settles them on time
- Takes responsibility for preparing trial balances for various accounts
- Monitors all loan documentation & tracks receipts of funds
- Maintains the salary advance register and non-disbursed salary records for the Sales force
- Ensure resolution of all Audit findings / Memos highlighted
