Commercial Finance Manager/Unit Head (Overseas)

- You will lead the commercial finance function to ensure alignment of Business Goals for the organisation. You also partner with the Business Unit leads, Marketing teams, and Senior Management to ensure goals and objectives are met and support the overall strategic, budget plan and forecasting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish the Commercial Finance function & you would be single point of contact for all Commercial related planning & analysis activities and business partnership wit the business units.

- Provide accurate and timely information for month, quarter and year end close to local and regional Commercial / Marketing teams.

- Forecasting and annual planning through the establishment of guidelines, managing financial models, and development of key performance measures.

- Business Partnering on commercial proposals on key accounts, oversee rebate programs all the while delicately balancing price / volume / profitability.

- Business partnering on value creation projects such as further expanding and maintaining the commercial part of the Cognos Business Intelligence system..

- Driving fact based decisions through defining the right measures, establishing and maintaining a financial incentive framework and performance scorecard

Qualification And Experience:

i. CA (Ist or 2nd Attempt) with 8 -14 years of experience in a medium to large size manufacturing company & knowledge of US GAAP, Accounting Principles. Age not more than 35.

ii. Experience in leading a team.

iii. Experience in FP&A, budgeting and Forecasting is a must.

iv. Experience in Business Partnering, preferably in Commercial Finance.

v. Excellent knowledge of Google Drive, Sheets, Slides, MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, incl. Macros.

vi. Experience and knowledge of financial systems, Hyperion and Cognos is preferred.

vii. Strong organizational and operational skills, able to plan effectively and solving problems.

viii. Strong analytical skills and drive for results.

ix. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a straightforward manner. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.

x. Ability to cope with high-pressure assignments and used to meeting strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.
